Get a GP Referral

Visit your GP or specialist and ask for a referral to ENT Clinics. A valid referral is required for Medicare rebates.

Book an Appointment

Contact our friendly reception team by phone or through our online form to book your consultation.

Attend Your Consultation

See your ENT specialist, who will conduct a thorough assessment and discuss your diagnosis and treatment options.

Treatment & Follow-up

Proceed with the recommended treatment plan. Our team will provide ongoing support and follow-up care throughout your recovery.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a referral to see an ENT specialist?
Yes. A current referral from your GP or another specialist is required for Medicare rebates. Without a referral you can still be seen, but Medicare benefits will not apply.
How long does a referral last?
A referral from your GP is valid for 12 months. A referral from a specialist (e.g. from another hospital) is valid for 3 months.
Will I need surgery?
Not necessarily. Many conditions can be managed with medication or other non-surgical treatments. Your surgeon will discuss all options during your consultation and recommend what is most appropriate for your individual circumstances.
How long is the waiting time for an appointment?
Waiting times vary depending on your location and the urgency of your condition. Please contact our reception team for current availability. Urgent referrals are prioritised.
Is the consultation bulk billed?
We are unable to bulk-bill consultation fees. However, all in-office procedures performed during a consultation (such as flexible nasendoscopy) will be bulk-billed. Out-of-pocket costs for consultations will depend on your surgeon and health fund entitlements. Please contact our reception team for specific fee information.
What private health funds do you accept?
We accept all major private health funds. Please bring your health fund card to your appointment. Our staff can assist you in understanding your benefits and any applicable gap payments.
