About Dr Ryan Sommerville
Dr Ryan Sommerville completed his ENT specialty training in Australia in 2008, then worked as a private consultant ENT surgeon on the Sunshine Coast and publicly at Logan Hospital in 2009. In 2010 he became the first ever fellow under Professor Giovanni Danesi in Bergamo, Italy, specialising in skull base surgery — a pioneering achievement. He is currently employed at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and actively teaches medical students and ENT trainees. Outside medicine, Dr Sommerville enjoys cycling and running.
