About Dr Mark Courtney
Dr Mark Courtney is an ENT surgeon specialising in ear, nose and throat, and head and neck conditions in adults and children. He completed additional fellowship training in Canada and New Zealand, with a sub-specialty practice in rhinoplasty — performing over 100 procedures per year — facial skin cancers, and paediatric ENT. Dr Courtney is a VMO at Gold Coast University Hospital and a Senior Lecturer at Griffith Medical School, also teaching and examining students at Bond Medical School. He is accredited with public and private hospitals on the Gold/Tweed Coast. His practice is built on patient education, clear communication, and a collaborative team approach to care.
